A copy of a segment of the front cover of a publication on the late and blessed Tamav Irini (entitled, Tamav Irini and Glorious Horizons in the Monastic Life: Part 1) by the nuns of her Convent. The Saint depicted above her head is her dearly beloved friend, and the patron Saint of the Convent over which she presided: St Abu Sefein (otherwise known as St Philopateer Merkourios). The barely-to-be-seen background image is of the Convent itself.

A photo of the famous 14th century Coptic Icon of the Theotokos located in the Coptic Orthodox Convent of St Mary in Haret Zuela. Pope Matthew I of Alexandria (14th Century) used to converse directly with the Holy Virgin through this icon; she would console and advise him in times of temptation and trouble. According to the present superior of the Convent, Tamav Mariam, the icon continues to work wonders and miracles. It has, on a number of occasions, streamed forth holy oil and a number of people have reported powerful responses to their prayers before this icon.

A photo of the 19th century iconostasis of the church of St George in El-Moharraq Monastery, Egypt. The iconostasis was donated to the church by a man who was healed by a monk of the monastery. The story goes that this monk was travelling across the Middle East collecting donations for the building of the church. He came across one man who did not respect the his cause and who rudely waved his hand in the monk's face when approached by him. The man's hand consequently became paralysed and he began pleading for the monk's forgiveness and help. The monk healed the man and the man in remorse and gratitude offered to donate an iconostasis to the church.
